Venezuela and Cuba sign tourism co-operation agreements

The tourism ministers of both countries met at the Fitven 2023 trade fair

Venezuelan Tourism Minister Ali Padron said that during the event he met with his Cuban counterpart Juan Carlos Garcia Granda in Barquisimeto, Lara state. This is reported by teleSUR, a partner of TV BRICS.

The two sides signed two co-operation agreements in the field of tourism. They will aim to conclude business agreements in trade related to the sector.

Minister Padron said that the state of Lara will become a supplier to Cuban tourism companies.

"Various high quality products will be exported to the Caribbean island from Jacinto International Airport (Lara) and will go directly to Cuban hotels," emphasised the Venezuelan Tourism Minister.
