International TV BRICS network and Mediamax Network have signed a co-operation agreement. The media organisations will jointly promote the BRICS agenda in Kenya, as well as introduce viewers of the BRICS countries to the culture and traditions, economic potential and opportunities of the African country.
"We are happy to start this new partnership between Mediamax Network and BRICS. We bring and serve the best Entertainment and Editorial content to our viewers and with this partnership our content slate will only become richer. In a highly competitive and dynamic market, a well-crafted, Linear and OTT channel content strategy could be the key to success. With our OTT Platform (K24Plus), Personalization strategy is becoming increasingly crucial for today’s content teams. Analyzing the habits and tastes of viewers, can not only facilitate media brands a way to personalize their channels and offer a better viewing experience for its users but also provide a chance to attract niche audiences," said Ken Ngaruiya, CEO of Mediamax Network.
Kenya is one of the most important economies on the African continent and has shown interest in co-operating with BRICS nations. Today, the country is part of China's One Belt, One Road initiative and is strengthening relations with South Africa in the areas of trade, investment and others.
"Undoubtedly, TV BRICS sees the co-operation with MediaMax as an opportunity to access quality content about the country, its culture and traditions, its economic potential and the opportunities Kenya has in terms of international partnership with the BRICS countries. On the other hand, in order to promote multilateral co-operation between BRICS and Africa as a whole, there is a need to familiarise the continent's audience with the BRICS countries, provide relevant business news, and showcase the countries' national identities. We will be happy to share content about the BRICS countries with MediaMax viewers"
