South Africa Actively Exports Yellow Corn

Following the results of the last week,South Africa has exported the largest volume of yellow corn – 58.456 thousand tons. The most part – 91% – was sent to Vietnam, Zerno Online agency with reference to SAGIS agencyreports.
Though October and November export was very weak, SAR hasexported 1.412 million tons of yellow corn since the beginning the 2018/19 season (May-April). This is 2.7 times more, than for the same period of the previous season.
Vietnam became the main consumer of the South African corn, with nearly a half of the exported corn (48.8%) sent to this country. The second largest exporter of crop is South Korea, about 15% is sent there.
