Moscow's RSUH will discuss opportunities for NGO development within the BRICS+ and CIS frameworks

The International Scientific Futurological Forum will be held on 11-12 December

The Russian State University for the Humanities will host the International Scientific Futurological Forum "Smart Civilisation: Man, Values, Education, Technology and the Future of the Multipolar World" in the format of a two-day expert and analytical school on 11-12 December 2023. The aim of the event is to expand Russia's international humanitarian influence in education and NGO work. It will be attended by foreign experts.

The programme includes working and plenary sessions. Participants together with international professors will discuss opportunities for cooperation within the BRICS+ and CIS frameworks, ways to develop NGOs and the mission of universities in promoting the principle of civilisational sovereignty and value-oriented education of students.

Speakers include Alexander Chubaryan, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Sandeep Marwah, Member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Education of India; Bo Wang, Professor at the The University of International Business and Economics (China); Srikanth Kondapalli, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi, India); Feliciano de Sa Guimoraes, Academic Director of the Brazilian Centre for International Relations (CEBRI) and Garth Le Pere, Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria (South Africa).

On the first day of the Forum, Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, will speak at the plenary session "The Key to the Future through Cooperation of Civil Societies of Modern Civilisations". She will talk about the principles of the BRICS+ media partnership network, as well as TV BRICS' mission in the field of education and the work of the international network with partner educational institutions, including universities in the BRICS countries.

The participants of the event will discuss the prospects of interaction between the third sector, universities and innovative companies of the BRICS+ countries; trends in the work of NGOs in Russia and the world; youth NGOs and international public projects and other topics.

The forum will be attended by more than 180 participants - representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, experts, scientists, representatives of universities, NGOs from Russia, BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, South Africa), as well as CIS countries.
