BRICS Council of Sports Lawyers may appear in Russia

The State Duma supports the idea of the participants of the international sports forum «Russia is a Sports Power» is about the creation of a public council of sports lawyers BRICS in the country. It has been reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Committee on Physical Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the State Duma Mikhail Degtyarev. The purpose of the creation of a public organization is to unite highly qualified specialists in the field of sports law from different BRICS countries, a Sibnovosti.ru correspondent reports.

 «There is a healthy core in this idea, especially since the supranational organization of BRICS today has a certain stability. All this will allow us to resist the hegemony of the United States, using sports law, to seek unfair competition. The seventh International Sports Forum «Russia is a Sports Power» was held in the Ulyanovsk region on the 10-12th of October 2018.
